Become a member of the PTO Board for the 2026-2027 school year!
Have you ever thought about getting more involved in the PTO, or having a hands-on role in the planning process for our amazing events and activities? There are several board positions and special volunteer roles opening up for the 2026/2027 school year!
Positions and roles are flexible to your skills and interests, and every person can have a positive impact.
OPEN BOARD POSITION:
Treasurer: Receives and oversees all funds of the organization, providing monthly and regular accounting updates. Keeps accurate record of receipts, expenditures, and payments due. Ensure appropriate audits, renewal of VA state incorporation, sales tax exemption, and other insurance documents.
OTHER SPECIALITY VOLUNTEER ROLES (all roles are flexible to the skills and interests of the interested person):
Communications: Oversee PTO newsletters, social media posts and updates to the PTO website. Assist with printing or communications related to specific events.
Spirit Night Coordinator: Serve as the primary contact within our local community businesses to arrange PTO sponsorships and regular Spirit Night events.
General Support: Do you have a talent, skillset, or interest that doesn’t specifically align with these roles? No problem! Reach out and we’ll find the best fit to leverage your support!
